Ski Resort Opening 2019/2020

This year the season seems to have started with a bang, and the vast majority of ski resorts have been literally covered in fresh snow!
For this reason, there’s no time to waste — it’s already time to get equipped and hit the slopes!

Here are the opening dates of the main ski resorts. By clicking on the resort name you can rent skis and snowboards at Rent and Go stores and enjoy a season that promises endless fun:

Trentino turned completely white in no time, with meters of snow on all slopes and main areas.
Madonna di Campiglio opened its lifts on November 16, while San Pellegrino has been active since the 30th.
Alta Pusteria has been open since mid-November, together with Val Senales and Passo del Tonale.
Other areas opened their lifts between late November and early December, such as Kronplatz/Plan de Corones or Alta Badia, as well as Val Gardena.

Moving to Veneto, Cortina d’Ampezzo opened its lifts already in mid-November thanks to abundant snowfall.
In Lombardy, Bormio is ready for the first runs starting November 30, as well as Chiesa in Valmalenco and Livigno.

Valle d’Aosta opened its lifts in Cervinia and Champoluc between October and mid-November, while La Thuile has been active since November 30.
The same opening date in Piedmont for Bardonecchia together with the whole Via Lattea area, which even decided to open earlier thanks to the extraordinary snowfalls that have covered the slopes with perfect snow.
