GENERAL INFORMATION

What cookies are and what they are used for

A cookie is a text file that a website visited by the user sends to their device (computer, mobile device such as smartphone or tablet), where it is stored and then sent back to that website on the user’s next visit.

Cookies are distinguished by:

  • the party that installs them: either the same operator of the visited site (so-called “first-party cookies”) or a different subject (so-called “third-party cookies”);
  • the purpose: some cookies allow for better navigation by remembering certain user choices, such as language (so-called “technical cookies”), while others allow monitoring of user navigation for advertising purposes and/or to offer services aligned with user preferences (so-called “profiling cookies”).

Only profiling cookies require the user’s prior consent for their use.

The Data Controller is solely responsible for first-party cookies installed on the Website.

In the section "First-party technical cookies" you can view the types of technical cookies released by the Website.
