From today many lifts are open in the Monterosa Ski area (Gressoney, Champoluc, Alagna, Champorcher, Antagnod, Brusson).

Despite less-than-optimal weather conditions, the season finally gets underway in one of the ski resorts that was able to open some slopes already for the Immaculate Conception long weekend. Now, fortunately, conditions have improved.

In Val d’Ayas all lifts are open from today, including the Lago Ciarcerio-Belvedere chairlift (usable only in the Contenery-Belvedere direction, towards the Crest).

However, we point out that the Champoluc lifts are not yet connected to those of Frachey. Still missing are the Del Bosco, Ostafa 2, Ostafa 1 Black Variant, Ciosal, Contenery, Del Lago, Del Monte and Pian de la Sal slopes.

In the Gressoney Valley all lifts are open except for the Colletesand 1 and Colletesand 2 conveyor belts and the Sant’ Anna, Delle Marmotte skiweg, Baby Snow Park P. Colletesand and Orsia slopes.

In the Freeride Area - Punta Indren the connection between the Gressoney and Valsesia valleys is open, as is the connection between the Gressoney and d’Ayas (Frachey) valleys.

In Alagna Valsesia the Pianalunga-Cimalegna-Salati cable car, the Alagna-Pianalunga cable car, the Pianalunga-Bocchetta chairlift with the Mullero, Olen, Cimalegna, Bodwitch slopes and the Valsesia-Gressoney Valley connection are open.

In Champorcher, where the girls of the national speed team and Tina Maze have trained in recent days, snow conditions are excellent and the slopes will reopen to the public starting next weekend.

Antagnod, Brusson and Gressoney-Saint-Jean are still closed, where work is underway to open as soon as possible.
