Upcoming ski models and trends for the season 2024/2025

We're nearing the end of this ski season, but Rent and Go is already ahead: did you know that all the new products for the 2024/2025 season have already arrived at our rental points?

That's right: some of them were presented at the Prowinter fair in Bolzano last January, and they are already available in advance for our customers.

In this article, we'll talk about the latest trends in the skiing world; not just skis, but also boots, helmets, and new technologies that promise to enhance the skiers' experience, making it even more exciting and immersive.

Let's take a look together!

Ski Innovations 2024/2025: Design, Technology, and more

Among the main trending products for the 2024/25 season, standout models include Fischer The Curv Premium, Völkl Peregrine, and Stereo Ski.

Fischer The Curv Premium Skis: An Exclusive Rent and Go

The Fischer Curv line comes in two variants: the Premium version and the base version. The Premium line's color scheme is inspired by the famous movie Back to the Future by Zemeckis, and indeed, the entire line has a futuristic vibe.

You can already notice this attitude from the triple reverse radius, an advanced technology that allows the ski to turn in any curve arc; in other words, it allows the ski to never skid and to resist even the strongest pressures.

The new design promises smooth transitions on entry into the curve, with lightness and ease, while on exit the curve is equally smooth and highly maneuverable, making these skis ideal for every type of skier.

Can't wait to try it out? You can find the new Fischer The Curv Premium ski exclusively in the Advanced category (5 stars) at Rent and Go rental points.

Völkl Peregrine Skis: Precision, Versatility, and Performance

The new Völkl Peregrine skis, introduced last January, promise an exciting and dynamic skiing experience, combining speed and power.

According to the company itself: "they are the best in the combination of precision, versatility, and performance".

The Peregrine line consists of 4 special models, each suitable for different situations and terrains. Currently, what you can find at Rent and Go is number 79, a 4-star ski suitable for all types of terrain. The combination of technological innovation and exceptional performance offers an unparalleled experience.

Stereo Ski Piste Carve AC, Kjetil André Aamodt's ski presented at the Rent and Go stand

We cannot fail to mention the brand-new Piste Carve AC ski from Stereo Ski, designed by legendary Norwegian skier Kjetil André Aamodt; with its precision and maneuverability characteristics, it is an ideal choice for those seeking maximum performance on the slopes.

We had the honor of hosting Aamodt himself at the Rent and Go stand. Kurt Ladstaetter stated, "we immediately contacted Aamodt to have them, and he came here to the fair to present them personally."

Technological Innovations to Know for the Next Ski Season

Rent and Go doesn't just offer high-quality skis, but also commits to providing the latest technological innovations in equipment.

Among the main innovations are the new ski boots equipped with the BOA closure system. Have you heard of it before? Yes, the same one used until recently exclusively on snowboard boots!

Given the success of the closure system, which offers better wrapping of the foot, BOA is now available on ski boots too, ready to guarantee more safety, comfort, and performance during your snow experience.

Among the new models of boots with the BOA system, the main brands in the industry, such as:

  • Tecnica, with the new model produced exclusively for Rent and Go (in the photo)
  • Salomon, with the S/Pro Supra series (in the photo)
  • K2, with its MindBender 125 boots, awarded at the Prowinter Award
  • Atomic, with the Hawx series (in the photo)

Kästle Returns to Producing Bicycles, and More

After a long break, the historic company Kästle, mainly known for ski production, has returned in style to the bicycle sector and is presenting four new models of e-mountain bikes, initially distributed only in Austria but will also be available in Italy and of course in Rent and Go bike rentals for the summer of 2024.

In addition to this striking innovation, three new models of Kästle ski boots have also been presented, which will be available in the 2024/25 season at Rent and Go rentals:

  • K120P: a model designed for high performance, with a flex of 120 and the "K_release" buckle, already used in World Cup races.
  • K110P: a boot with slightly lower flex, ensuring great comfort thanks to K_fit technology and E.V.A. pads, which allow for individual adaptation.
  • K100P: with flex 100, ideal for tackling difficult situations while offering absolute comfort and boasting the features of models with higher flex.

This expansion of the Kästle product range represents a significant step for the company, and we at Rent and Go can't wait for you to try them all!

The Atomic Visor Helmet: A Leap Forward in the 2024/25 Trends

Atomic has surprised its audience with an exceptional helmet, representing a real step forward in the industry: the Savor Visor Stereo. Let's briefly look at its features:

  • Holo Core: ensures up to 30% greater impact absorption than normal helmets, offering advanced protection.
  • Stereoscopic lens technology: the lens, composed of 9 layers of high-quality mirror, reduces eye fatigue and protects against glare, ensuring maximum clarity and visual comfort.
  • Active air conditioning ventilation: the helmet's wider cooling system offers active ventilation with more channels and adjustable air intakes.
  • Adjustable visor configuration: the visor support, with or without glasses, is rotatable and offers 8mm more space than normal helmets, allowing for optimal customization.

The Atomic Visor helmet is already available at Rent and Go rental points in a special dedicated version.

Rent and Go Leading in Sustainability and Environmental Innovation

Last but not least, a great innovation with a green heart at Rent and Go: the Life Reskiboot project.

In collaboration with Dalbello, we have created a new line of "green" ski boots, made from old boots provided by us, whose plastics have been recycled.

Thanks to the reuse of these resources, today we have a line that is not only very functional and performant, but also has a very low environmental impact.

We are proud to contribute to this small but great change, starting from our rentals and giving our customers the opportunity to actively contribute to sustainability during their snow adventures.

The Reskiboot line is already available exclusively at Rent and Go rentals.
