FISI ANNOUNCES THE LIST OF ITALIAN ATHLETES FOR THE 2015 VAIL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Federation has announced the list of 22 who will board the plane bound for the snows of Colorado, where this year the World Championships of Vail / Beaver Creek will be held.
The Azzurri Team arrives at the event in great form, with an excellent season record that confirms the quality of the work carried out by the National Team coaches: we lack the versatile "phenomenon" both on the men's side - like Hirscher or Jansrud - and on the women's - the Vonn or Gutt of the moment - but as a whole the Team is certainly among the top three in the world. Great expectations in the speed events for both women and men, with the latter among the big favourites also in the "technical" events.
Out is Max Blardone among the men, the only major absence, due to a season that was not exactly brilliant. In, however, Manfred Moelgg: a just reward for the extraordinary recovery work after the serious tendon injury last summer. Here is the men's list:
