FROM JANUARY 16 TO 18, ICE CLIMBING MEETING AT THE SERRAI DI SOTTOGUDA
The Serrai di Sottoguda are largely unknown to the general public, yet they constitute one of the most extraordinary landscapes of the entire Alpine arc. Two kilometres of dizzying walls a few metres apart that the tireless Pettorina stream, determined to carve itself a way down to the valley, has hollowed out over millennia.
In this unique place of beauty, reminiscent of the Norwegian fjords and the American Grand Canyon – made even more evocative by its numerous waterfalls which, as if by magic, freeze powerfully every winter – the appointment with the Ice Climbing Meeting will also take place this year. A three-day event dedicated to the daring discipline of ice climbing, in which professional climbers from all over the world will "challenge" these incredible sculptures that Mother Nature offers us each year with the arrival of the cold.
Rent and Go is present in the ski areas a few kilometres from where the event will be held, with all the equipment you need for your days on the snow. You can find us in Canazei, Falcade and Arabba.
