CAPRACOTTA BREAKS THE ALL-TIME WORLD RECORD FOR SNOW IN 24 HOURS!

We did not hear about it from our Rent and Go shops located a few km away – in Roccaraso and in Rivisondoli – because there was no need: to tell what happened in Capracotta even the national mainstream press got involved!

In the Molise resort the record for snowfall in 24 hours was in fact broken, which, before the night between Sunday and Monday, belonged to the American town of Silver Lake since 1921, when 193 cm of snow were recorded in a single day. Far too little for the famous southern ski resort, which with 256 cm of snow (!) recorded the most abundant snowfall ever recorded by man.

The photos testified to the astonishment of the citizens, although used to heavy snowfalls, who found themselves on waking to be at street level from the first floor of their homes.
