Bikes and e-bikes for rent by Rent and Go

At Rent and Go we know that choosing the right bike makes the difference between a day of pure fun and a tiring experience.

With over 35 rental points located in the best resorts of the Italian Alps, we offer a wide range of bicycles to suit every need: from city rides in South Tyrolean towns to high-mountain tours. In this article we guide you step by step in choosing the perfect two-wheeler for you.

1. The e-bike family

Electric-assist bicycles (e-bikes) are the ideal choice if you want comfort and an extra boost on steeper climbs. All our e-bikes come from leading brands (for example KTM Bike) and are maintained to the highest standard. On request, for rentals longer than 1 day, we also provide a charger to take to your accommodation.

  • Basic & Special: city e-bikes and trekking e-bikes, perfect for getting around town and riding cycle paths. City models feature a low step-through frame for easier mounting. All are equipped with a quiet motor and long-lasting battery.

  • Top (Hardtail): mountain e-bikes with front suspension, ideal for more technical mountain trails and controlled descents.

  • Diamond (Full-suspension): full-suspension e-bikes for maximum control on very rough terrain with significant elevation gain and steeper gradients.

  • Junior: multi-purpose mini e-bikes with front suspension, to introduce kids to cycling with maximum comfort and safety.

2. The “muscular” (non-electric) bike family

If you prefer to pedal without electric assist, our range of non-electric bikes covers every need:

  • Basic: city bikes and trekking bikes with low-step or classic frames. City bikes have easier mounting yet can also be considered trekking bikes, optimized for longer, stable rides on cycle paths and even gravel roads.

4. How to choose based on your itinerary

Easy outings or city rides: city e-bikes or non-electric city bikes, ideal for cycle paths and short trips.

Mixed routes: trekking e-bikes or trekking bikes, with comfortable gearing and relaxed riding positions.

Mountain trails: hardtail or full-suspension mountain e-bikes, or top non-electric MTBs.

Dirt roads and gravel adventures: e-gravel or non-electric gravel bikes (where available).

5. Book your bike in 3 simple steps

  1. Choose the nearest Rent and Go rental point.
  2. Check the online price list and select your bike category and desired accessories.
  3. Confirm the booking and pick up your bike at the chosen time.

A frequent question is: “Do I have to book or can I just show up at the rental shop?” Our suggestion is to always book online in advance. Bikes are available in limited quantities, especially the right sizes for each height, and availability can change quickly during peak season. Moreover, many shops accept bookings only up to 2–3 days before pickup, depending on the bike type. Booking online in advance is the best way to secure the model you want. Enjoy your ride and the mountains with Rent and Go!
