Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR).

INTRODUCTION
This information takes into account the provisions of the GDPR, Legislative Decree 196/2003 ("Privacy Code") and the Guidelines of the Privacy Guarantor. The information is aimed at customers who browse or make reservations through the channels indicated below.
Data Controller:
Main owner: Rent a Sport Italia SRL (“Rent and Go”), with registered office in Via Bruno Buozzi 12, 39100 Bolzano (BZ) - Italy, e‑mail booking@rentandgo.it.
For each booking, the affiliated rental company chosen by the customer to provide the service ("Rental Company") is the joint controller of the processing.

Rent and Go and the Rental Company jointly determine the purposes and means of the processing pursuant to art. 26 GDPR.
Rent and Go has not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO); privacy requests can be sent directly to the contacts indicated above.

The Data Controller has not appointed a DPO (Data Protection Officer). Therefore, you can send any request for information directly to the Data Controller.
DATA COLLECTED AND COLLECTION METHODS
The data is collected via:
• the website www.rentandgo.it;
• the “Rent and Go” mobile app for Android and iOS devices;
• other Rent and Go proprietary platforms (iFrame or booking engine on rental point sites);
• check‑in terminals present in affiliated stores;
• management software integrated into Rent and Go used by rental staff.
Categories of data processed:
- Complete details of the main customer: name, surname, residential address, telephone, e-mail.
- Data functional to the booking of the main customer and sub-customers: name, surname, height, weight, shoe size, age or date of birth, level of skiing experience.
GENERAL INFORMATION
This document describes how the Data Controller processes your personal data provided on the Site.
The main processing of your personal data is described below. In particular, the legal basis of the processing is explained, whether the provision is mandatory and the consequences of failure to provide personal data. To better describe your rights, if necessary, we have specified if and when a certain processing of personal data is not carried out. On the Site you have the possibility to enter personal data of third parties. In this case you guarantee that you have obtained the consent of these subjects to enter this personal data. Therefore, you undertake to indemnify and hold the Data Controller harmless from any liability.
Registration on the Site
The information and data requested in case of registration will be used to allow you both to access the reserved area of the Site and to use the online services offered by the Data Controller to registered users. The legal basis of the processing is the need for the Data Controller to carry out pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the interested party. The provision of data is optional. However, your refusal to provide the data will make it impossible to register on the Site.
Registration with the Rent and Go group and account management
The customer can optionally register for Rent and Go (during online booking, via the in-store check-in terminals, or by requesting it at the rental desk. In this case:
• the data is stored in the CRM Rent and Go;
• become available at all rental points in the group, to avoid future registrations;
• the customer receives a welcome email with data confirmation, instructions for completing the profile and the virtual card with barcode.
Registration occurs through acceptance of a specific clause which refers to this privacy policy, permanently available at Privacy Policy. Legal basis: execution of the contract
Purchases on the site, booking and online sales
Your personal data will be processed to allow you to make purchases on the Site. In the case of placing an online purchase order, to allow the conclusion of the purchase contract and the correct execution of the operations connected to the same (and, if necessary based on sector legislation, to fulfill tax obligations). This processing of personal data also includes the possibility of sending communications (e.g. tracking and order information) via automated tools such as text messages and/or WhatsApp. The legal basis of the processing is the obligation of the Data Controller to execute the contract with the interested party or to fulfill legal obligations. Regardless of the above (and therefore your consent), the Data Controller may process your data for so-called purposes. "soft-spam", governed by art. 130 of the Privacy Code. This means that limited to the email provided by you in the context of a purchase through the Site, the Data Controller will process the email to allow the direct offer of similar products/services, provided that you do not object to such processing in the manner provided for in this information. The legal basis of the processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in sending this type of communications, or execution of pre-contractual and contractual measures. This legitimate interest can be considered equivalent to the interest of the interested party in receiving "soft-spam" communications. The Data Controller may send emails to remind the user to complete a purchase. The legal basis of this processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in sending this type of communications.
On-site provision of the rental service by the Rental Company
The data will be transmitted to the Rental Company chosen by the user for the purpose of providing the rental service. Legal basis: execution of the contract
Respond to your requests
Your data will be processed to respond to your requests for information. The provision is optional, but your refusal will make it impossible for the Data Controller to answer your questions. The legal basis of the processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in following up on the user's requests. This legitimate interest is equivalent to the user's interest in receiving responses to communications sent to the Data Controller. The Data Controller may process your personal data for the purpose of managing assistance tickets. The legal basis of the processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in responding to the interested party's request. This interest is equivalent to that of the interested party in receiving a response. Personal data will be stored for this purpose until the deadline for managing the ticket. If you fill out the appropriate form on the Site, the Data Controller may use your personal data to manage the request for a quote and/or intervention. The provision of data is optional, but in the absence of them the Data Controller will not be able to process the request. The legal basis of the processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in responding to requests sent by users, an interest which corresponds to that of the user in receiving a response. The Data Controller may also process personal data for the purposes of managing requests for assistance (tickets). Also in this case, the legal basis is the legitimate interest of the Owner in providing feedback, in line with the user's interest in receiving support.
Generic marketing
Subject to your consent, the Data Controller may process the personal data provided by you in order to send you advertising material and/or newsletters relating to its own or third party products. The legal basis for this processing is your consent. The provision of personal data for this purpose is purely optional. Failure to consent to the processing of data for marketing purposes will make it impossible for you to receive advertising material relating to products/services of the Data Controller and/or third parties as well as the impossibility for the Data Controller to carry out market surveys, also aimed at assessing the degree of user satisfaction, as well as to send you newsletters. These communications will be sent to the email address you provided on the Site. We use Google services, such as Google Ads and Google Analytics, to personalize advertisements and improve the user experience. This includes the collection of personal data and cookies, used to show you adverts in line with your preferences. Upon consent, you will be asked to authorize the use of this data. Statistical profiling and surveys
The Data Controller does not carry out "profiling" with your personal data. Therefore, it will not send you advertising material and/or newsletters relating to its own or third-party products of specific interest to you. Rent and Go may process data in aggregate or pseudonymized form for statistical analysis and to improve the quality of the service. The customer will be able to automatically receive a satisfaction survey via email at the end of the service; this sending is not subject to marketing consent.
Transfer of data
The Data Controller does not transfer your personal data to third parties.

Based on the preferences expressed, Rent and Go may carry out remarketing activities on online advertising platforms. The customer can manage or revoke consent to cookies at any time via the appropriate banner or browser settings.
Operational contacts
Rent and Go or Rental Company staff may contact the customer via e-mail or telephone for information relating to the booking or rental experience.
Geolocalization
If you access the Site you may receive a notification on your device (fixed and/or mobile) which will give you the possibility to allow or disallow the identification of the device itself (so-called geo-localization). You may freely allow or refuse this setting, without this resulting in substantial changes to the functionality of the Site. You may change the geolocation settings at any time via the settings of your device. The legal basis of the processing consists in the legitimate interest of the Data Controller to provide services relevant to the user's position. This legitimate interest is equal to the user's interest in receiving services that are as relevant as possible to his position.
Curriculum Vitae
Through the Site you can send your CV. Your curriculum vitae will be examined by the Data Controller or by his collaborators. The purpose of the processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller to view the document to verify the possibility of establishing a working or collaborative relationship with you. This interest is equivalent to your interest in being contacted by the Data Controller for this purpose. The data will be kept until the end of the selection period and in any case for a period not exceeding 6 months from the sending of the curriculum vitae. The provision is optional but failure to provide it will prevent the Data Controller from contacting you.
Photographs and videos
The Data Controller does not request the publication of photographs and/or videos depicting you. Therefore, your data will not be processed for these purposes.
Web scraping
The Data Controller allows the use of web scraping techniques, provided that such activities are carried out in accordance with the following terms and conditions: (i) Legal and Ethical access. Web scraping must be done legally and ethically. Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when performing scraping activities; (ii) Responsible Use. Users must ensure that scraping techniques do not impair the functionality of our website, overload the Site's servers or interfere with the experience of other users; (iii) Respect for Personal Data. Users must respect the privacy and protection of personal data present on the Site. Any collection of personal data must be carried out in accordance with current legislation on the protection of personal data; (iv) Attribution. It is required that any data or content collected from the Site via web scraping is appropriately attributed to the Site as the original source; (v) Limitations. The Data Controller reserves the right to impose limitations or restrictions on web scraping, including requiring a prior written agreement in certain cases. Users must be prepared to stop scraping activities at the request of the Data Controller. By using the Site and engaging in web scraping activities, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth above. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in the revocation of the permission to carry out web scraping and the adoption of appropriate measures to protect the rights and interests of the Data Controller.
Communication of personal data
As part of its ordinary activity, the Data Controller may communicate your personal data to certain categories of subjects. In article 2You can find the list of subjects to whom the Data Controller communicates your personal data. To facilitate the protection of your rights, article 2 may specify in some cases when your data is not communicated to third parties.
The "communication" of personal data to third parties is different from the "transfer" (governed in the previous point). In fact, in the communication the third party to whom the data is transmitted can only use it for the specific purposes described in the relationship with the Data Controller. In the case of transfer, however, the third party becomes the independent Data Controller of the personal data. Furthermore, your consent is always required to transfer your personal data to third parties.
Without prejudice to the foregoing, it is understood that the Data Controller may still use your personal data to correctly fulfill the obligations established by the laws in force.
SPECIFIC PRIVACY POLICY
Art. 1 Treatment methods
1.1 The processing of your personal data will mainly be carried out with the aid of electronic or automated means, according to methods and with suitable tools to guarantee the security and confidentiality of personal data. If the automatic chatbot service is operational, your personal data will also be processed to allow the activation of this service, through which the user can contact and be contacted by the Data Controller, subject to consent. The legal basis is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in responding to user requests via the chatbot service. This legitimate interest can be considered equivalent to the interest of the interested party in using the automatic chatbot service.
1.2 The information acquired and the methods of processing will be relevant and not excessive with respect to the type of services rendered. Your data will also be managed and protected in secure IT environments appropriate to the circumstances.
1.3 No "special data" is processed through the Site. Special data are those that may reveal racial and ethnic origin, religious, philosophical or other beliefs, political opinions, membership of parties, trade unions, associations or organizations of a religious, philosophical, political or trade union nature, state of health and sexual life.
1.4 No judicial data is processed through the Site.
Art. 2 Communication of personal data
The Data Controller may communicate your personal data to certain categories of subjects.
The Data Controller wishes to inform users that, as part of the use of the YouTube service (managed and owned by Google LLC), some personal data may be collected and shared. This data collection is essential to provide and improve user experience on our Site and to enable viewing of video content embedded via the YouTube API. In detail, when a user views video content via the YouTube API on our Site, the following information may be collected: IP address: Used to connect the user's device to YouTube for video transmission. Behavioral Data: Includes information on how the user interacts with videos, which videos are viewed and for how long. Location Information: Used to provide relevant content based on the user's geographic location. This data is collected automatically by the system and, in some cases, may be retained to improve user experience and for YouTube's internal analytics purposes. Please note that our Site uses YouTube's API services and, by viewing content via these APIs, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service which can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms. For further details on data management by Google LLC, we invite users to consult the privacy policy of Google LLC at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy and that of YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/intl/ALL_it/howyoutubeworks/our-commitments/protecting-user-data/. Details on the use of API data relating to users API data relating to users: When a user interacts with the YouTube videos integrated into our Site, data such as viewing preferences, history of videos viewed, and interactions with video content (likes, comments, shares) may be collected. This data is made available via the YouTube API and helps understand how users interact with video content. Accessing Data via the Client API: Our Site may use specific API calls to request and receive data from YouTube. This could happen when a user views a video, with the system automatically recording the relevant information. Data Collection: Data is automatically collected by the YouTube system when users interact with YouTube videos on our Site. This process is essential to providing a smooth and personalized user experience. Data retention: The data collected is stored securely in YouTube systems for a period that does not exceed the need for use. YouTube takes all necessary security measures to protect this data from unauthorized access or illicit use. Use of data: YouTube uses this data for various purposes, including: Internal Analytics: To better understand user interactions with video content and improve the quality of YouTube services. Content Personalization: To offer users a more personalized experience, based on their preferences and interaction history. Improved User Experience: To identify and resolve any technical problems and optimize the usability of video content.
The subjects to whom the Data Controller reserves the right to communicate your data are indicated below:
- The Data Controller may communicate your personal data to all those subjects (including the competent Public Authorities, in the cases provided for by law) who have access to personal data pursuant to regulatory or administrative provisions.
- Your personal data may also be communicated to all those public and/or private entities, natural and/or legal persons (legal, administrative and tax consultancy firms, judicial offices, Chambers of Commerce, Chambers and Labor Offices, etc.), if the communication is necessary or functional for the correct fulfillment of the obligations deriving from the law.
- The Data Controller makes use of employees and/or collaborators in any capacity. For the correct functioning of the Site, the Data Controller may communicate your personal data to these employees and/or collaborators.
- In its ordinary management activity of the Site, the Data Controller makes use of consultancy companies and IT suppliers connected to the Rent and Go group, in charge of technical services (hosting, CRM, software maintenance, help-desk), consultants or professionals in charge of the installation, maintenance, updating and, in general, of the management of the Data Controller's hardware and software or which the latter uses for the provision of its services. Therefore, only with reference to these purposes, your data may also be processed by these subjects.
- To send its communications, the Data Controller uses external companies responsible for sending this type of communications (CRM platforms). Your personal data (in particular your email) may therefore be communicated to these companies.
- For customer assistance purposes, the Data Controller uses one or more companies or freelance consultants appointed to provide customer care services. Only for this purpose, your personal data may be communicated to these companies, consultants or natural persons.
- The Data Controller uses banking institutions and companies that manage national and international payment circuits for online payments of products and services purchased through the Site.
- Buyers' personal data are not communicated to couriers or shippers.
The Owner reserves the right to modify the above list based on its ordinary operations. Therefore, you are invited to regularly access this information to check to which subjects the Data Controller communicates your personal data.
Art. 3 Storage of personal data
3.1 This article describes how long the Data Controller reserves the right to retain your personal data.
- For marketing purposes, personal data will be retained until consent is revoked. For inactive users, personal data will be deleted one year after the last email viewed is sent.
- For the purpose of executing the sales contract, the data will be kept for 10 years from the date of receipt of the purchase order. This is to allow the Data Controller to exercise his right of defense and to demonstrate that he has correctly executed the contract.
- As required by article 2220 of the civil code, invoices, as well as all accounting records in general, are kept for a minimum period of ten years from the date of registration, so that they can be presented in the event of an audit.
- Through the Site (or in any case by making a request to the Data Controller) it is possible to delete the user's account. In this case all personal data stored will be deleted and will not be stored by the Data Controller for any purpose.
3.2 Without prejudice to the provisions of article 3.1, the Data Controller may retain your personal data for the time required by specific regulations, as amended from time to time.
Art. 4 Transfer of personal data
4.1 The Data Controller is based in a country that has an adequate level of security from a regulatory point of view. If the transfer of your personal data takes place in a non-EU country and for which the European Commission has expressed an opinion of adequacy, the transfer is in any case considered safe from a regulatory point of view. This article 4.1 indicates from time to time the countries to which your personal data may be transferred and where the European Commission has expressed an opinion of adequacy.
- The user is therefore invited to regularly access this article to check whether the transfer of his personal data takes place in a country with these characteristics.
4.2 Without prejudice to what is indicated in article 4.1, your data may also be transferred to non-EU countries for which the European Commission has not expressed an opinion of adequacy. You are therefore invited to regularly view this article 4.2 to ascertain which of these countries your data may be transferred to.
4.3 In this article the Data Controller indicates the countries in which it specifically directs its activity. This circumstance may imply the application of the legislation of the country of reference, together with that which regulates the relationship with the user based on what is indicated in the Introduction.
- Upon request of the user, the Data Controller will apply to the processing of personal data the most favorable legislation provided for by the user's national legislation.
Art. 5. Rights of the interested party
Since Rent and Go and the Rental Company are joint data controllers, requests relating to personal data (including deletion) must be addressed to both parties separately, in the manner set out below.
The Data Controller informs you that you have the right to:
- ask the Data Controller to access your personal data and to rectify or delete them or limit the processing that concerns you or to oppose their processing, in addition to the right to data portability;
- revoke consent at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation;
- submit a complaint to a supervisory authority.
The above rights may be exercised without formalities at the contacts indicated in the Introduction. Rent a Sport Italia SRL will remove personal data from its systems (with the exception of data whose retention is necessary for legal purposes).
If the customer also wishes to have the data removed from the systems of the Rental Company that provided the service, the customer is required to contact that Company directly: the email address is available on the booking voucher or can be requested by writing to the contacts indicated in the Introduction.
Art. 6. Modifications and Miscellaneous
The Data Controller reserves the right to make changes to this information at any time, giving suitable publicity to users of the Site and guaranteeing in any case adequate and similar protection of personal data. In order to view any changes, you are invited to regularly consult this information. In the event of substantial changes to this privacy policy, the Data Controller may also communicate via email.
