San Cassiano ski area - a paradise for cross-country skiers. The area is located in the south-east of Val Badia, surrounded by the peaks of the Dolomites; numerous 4-star hotels bear witness to a long tourist tradition. San Cassiano is part of the large Alta Badia ski area, an area with 130 kilometres of beautifully prepared slopes, 51 ski lifts and a very modern snowmaking system; San Cassiano is also part of the Dolomiti Superski area. In San Cassiano you will find a ski school and several Rent and Go ski rental shops, where you can rent skis and snowboards. They also offer a high-quality repair service. The shuttle – ski bus – takes guests free of charge from the village centre to the ski lifts. In the Armentarola area, in the middle of sunny meadows and woods, is the Alta Badia – Enervit cross-country skiing centre, with a practice track and four itineraries or routes of different lengths and difficulty levels (total length 23 kilometres). The service centre includes a ski school, a Rent and Go ski rental shop, sanitary facilities (showers, etc.) and a café, where guests can relax and enjoy the sun on the terrace.
