Directly at the foot of the Catinaccio massif, in the middle of Val di Fassa, lies the ski village Vigo di Fassa, not only does it have a lovely view of the surrounding mountains, but it also offers a beautiful ski region with numerous ski runs and romantic snow-covered cross-country tracks.
A cable car and four chair lifts tap into the ski region of Ciampedié-Catinaccio, which can also be reached by two ski lifts departing from Pera. Equally, close by in Pozza a cable car, chair lift and two T-bar lifts serve the opposite valley side.
In the village, you can hire skis, and what’s more it isn’t far from Vigo di Fassa to reach all the remaining area of Val di Fassa with its 80 cable cars and ski lifts.
